Three beliefs that colour the way I work with my clients:

I believe…

Our thinking and behaviour evolve with every new conversation and experience. We’re always changing, constantly in motion.

I believe…

In mental health, symptoms and diagnoses often reflect some of our best efforts to adapt in the places we grew up in.

I believe…

There is a quiet sanctuary in each of us—a place to return to when life feels too much. Therapy can help us to find this.

Get to know me

My secret talent:
I can turn the simplest board game into a comedy of errors, but I love them all the same.

What’s it like to be in a room with me?
People often describe me as warm, genuine, and polite. I’m respectful in my approach, but also comfortable using humour—when appropriate—to help build connection. I genuinely love this work and value the theories behind it, but how and when we use them is a shared decision between me and my clients.

Finding the right fit matters, and I really value open, honest feedback. I encourage people to shape the process in a way that feels empowering. As an eclectic practitioner, I don’t believe in rigid, one-size-fits-all approaches. I’ve trained across a range of modalities and work flexibly and creatively to find what’s most supportive for each person—because none of us are templates.

What’s my non-negotiable when it comes to taking care of my own mental health?
My only real non-negotiable is setting aside the time. What I use it for changes based on my mood—it might be a cold swim, catching up with a friend, going to the gym, or listening to a podcast and learning something new.

My life motto:
“Nothing exists in isolation.”

My background and experience

I have eight years of experience across the mental health and welfare sectors, including four years in public mental health settings, working with individuals experiencing complex and enduring mental health challenges.

I have worked as a Senior Mental Health Clinician within a public service, where I supervised a team of therapists and oversaw a counselling program supporting people with more complex or severe presentations. This included working across trauma, addiction, depression and anxiety, including obsessive-compulsive disorders, as well as providing clinical consultation and leadership within a multidisciplinary setting.

In my current practice, I work with a broad range of presentations, with particular experience and ongoing interest in obsessive-compulsive disorders, addiction, and trauma-related difficulties. I have supported many individuals navigating intrusive thoughts, compulsive behaviours, substance and behavioural addictions, and the longer-term impacts of trauma. These experiences can carry significant shame or fear of being misunderstood, and I aim to provide clear, evidence-based support that is both structured and compassionate.

My work integrates EMDR for trauma processing alongside cognitive behavioural, emotion focussed and values-based therapies tailored to each individual.

In addition to my clinical work, I am the co-founder of a social enterprise dedicated to developing accessible psychoeducational tools for practitioners and young people, recognised with a Victorian Premier’s Design Award in 2024.

I am an LGBTQIA+ aware and affirmative clinician.
